 The Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards are an international business plan competition created in 2006 by Cartier, the Women’s Forum, McKinsey & Company and INSEAD business school to identify, support and encourage projects by women entrepreneurs.

World Bank and EDC Women X 2016

The World Bank in collaboration with the Enterprise Development Centre is awarding Scholarship to Female Entrepreneurs in Nigeria through the Women X Program.

The Women X program is aimed at providing practical business education through a blended learning approach for 5 months.
The Enterprise Development Center, Pan- Atlantic University in collaboration with The World Bank will

• Provide practical Business Education through a blended learning approach (online and in- class training)
• Help strengthen Female Entrepreneurs network
• Offer Mentoring
• Create linkages between financial institutions and Female Entrepreneurs.

The Queen’s Young Leader Award recognizes and celebrates exceptional people aged 18-29 from across the Commonwealth, who are taking the lead in their communities and using their skills to transform lives. Winners of this prestigious Award will receive a unique package of training, mentoring and networking, including a one-week residential program in the UK during which they will collect their Award from Her Majesty The Queen. With this support, Award winners will be expected to continue and develop the amazing work they are already doing in their communities. Applications are now open.
